Quality and reliability are the most important points for Elcis in encoders manufacturing. Components choose is based on performance and quality rather than price. Same philosophy applies on choice of suppliers of semi-finished products: these pieces must comply with severe specifications.
The products’ test is divided in 4 phases:  
- functional test at assembling end 
- test at temperature top limit
- re-test at ambient temperature with possible drift adjustments
- series of final tests before packing.
Each lot of encoders is followed by a working sheet listing all the requested operations and checks, and the operator must sign each of them, writing aside the obtained results. Then the working sheet is placed in the archives in order to certify the occurred quality. This series of operations gives to the customer the warranty of an error free product. Assistance service files all data about repairs accomplished, fundamental for getting data about reliability and improving product’s quality. 
Elcis applies in its own design, production, test cycle the international UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 Standards and is CSQ/IQNET certified.
